If you have kids that love science and technology they will enjoy exploring the career field of engineering. There are so many different types of engineering to explore.
I am loving all of the free unit studies from Engineering is Elementary. Each unit study includes a teacher guide, a student engineering journal, and free online resources to accompany the study. This unit study is specifically on Aeronautical Engineering and would be great to do right along side a space study. This specific study helps kids dive into aeronautical engineering by designing models of flying technologies that help NASA collect aerial photographs. They also learn about how to study with harsh environments on space and Earth.
This study has 8 activities in total that are 45 minutes in length. Grab this free unit study HERE.
