We love learning about artists and paintings in our homeschool. It is something we start when they are very young with picture study in a Charlotte Mason fashion, and we move up to more detailed artists and pieces when they get into the middle school and high school years.
I found a completely free art curriculum from Tina’s Dynamic Homeschool Plus. This is geared for 8th grade and can cover an entire year of art. I love the notebooking pages that she created. They are perfect for students that want to write about the artist and the print they are learning about, there is also a second set of pages that has a sketch box instead of lines. This is good for the students who love to draw and sketch, they can try to replicate the painting themselves. These pages would look great in an art notebook as well.
You can grab all the details for this free curriculum and the notebooking pages HERE.
