You can finish your meal prepping in less than an hour! The first time I was introduced to meal prepping was in my first bible study group. It was for youth/singles. The couple leading our bible study group invited all of us to their house for Sunday dinner (every Sunday.) However, it wasn’t just any Sunday dinner. We all helped with meal prep for their whole week. We didn’t mind at all since we all were hanging out and having fun. Now that I look back, the couple was nothing short of brilliant. Most of the youth would be at their house through the week anyway, eating up all their food. The least we could do was help them cook it. I learned the value of meal prep as I got older and I never forgot how much fun it was, how much time was saved for our group leaders and how good the food was.
I taught my daughter how to food prep for college and it is really helping her with eating better and for time management. I am grateful for this one family showing me a better way; teaching us some tips in life that have lasted this long.
