If you want to spend your money wisely, you’ve got to take all the little areas into consideration. This list of 20 Things will raise your awareness to seemingly small things that suck big money from your wallet.
I keep a stack of idea no. 5 in my car at all times. A dollar here, a few dollars there – it all adds up! My father-in-law is particularly adept at no. 8. He once sold four ten-year old water heaters for $40 each and got the buyers to pick them up! All I’m saying is that you need to give no. 8 a proper “go” at it.
No. 15 is my favorite. I once went shopping with my brother and marched into a store and straight back to this particular idea. He was aghast that I didn’t even piddle around the front areas. There is no shame in no. 15, and you can often beat used or consignment savings!
These are all terrific ideas for living a frugal lifestyle!
