Before you tune me out on the whole wacky hair day idea, give me a chance to explain myself. This is our eleventh year homeschooling, and my kids have had lots of opportunities to participate in a crazy hair day! AWANA club, church activities, homeschool co-ops – these places often have spirit week, contests, or zany competitions for things such as this. These ideas have so much built in wow factor your kids are sure to win a prize.
In fact, these ideas are so fantastic, that even if you don’t have an opportunity, you need to figure out a way to start one! If worse comes to worse, you and the kids can all do your hair crazy-like, sit on the living room floor, and do your school work for the day. Imagine how long they’ll talk about the memories you’ll make!
