When I started out homeschooling my children, I had glorious visions of a little room with desks and a bulletin board dedicated for school time. I managed to make this happen for a few short years, and then I finally realized that homeschooling meant I didn’t have to follow the traditional school model. My kids began to sit at the dining room table more and more, eventually branching out to the living room couch or even the beds in their rooms.
My point is that you don’t really need a room solely dedicated to homeschooling. It is possible to stay organized and even to keep your home neat and tidy. I love what this mom did to conceal her white board in plain view! It is possible to homeschool your children without having a separate school room!
