For years I have looked at My Father’s World Curriculum. I am a curriculum junkie. I LOVE it. I never tried it out because I hate teacher guides (we all have our “things”) but I LOVE the actual curriculum and have considered it every year. This makes me want to spend my money with them!
This message from MFW really makes me adore and love them! Have you been affected by hurricane Irma? Irma touched very close to home for us here in NE Florida (Jacksonville area.) I have lived here since 1996 and have NEVER seen flooding like this. I have homeschooling friends who lost their house and everything in it. Many of the places that have houses that were utterly destroyed were NOT flood zones and the families did not have flood insurance.
My Father’s World sent out this email:
Dear MY FATHER’S WORLD FAMILY,
All of us at My Father’s World want to extend our thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by Hurricane Irma. Given the catastrophic damage inflicted by this storm, we are concerned that many of our customers and other homeschoolers have lost their curriculum and need assistance at this very trying time in their lives.
If you or someone you know has lost a homeschool curriculum package from any homeschool supplier for the 2017-2018 school year, we want to help by replacing this curriculum with My Father’s World curriculum at no cost.
We are also deeply concerned that some public and private schools may have closed indefinitely in the area. For those who choose to homeschool as a direct result of their local school closing we will gladly extend a 35% discount on complete curriculum packages and any ancillary resources purchased at the same time.
Please encourage those you know who need our help to call our team at 573-202-2000.
David and Marie Hazell
I am so impressed by this! If you have lost your curriculum from the hurricane or know someone who has, have them get in touch with MFW.
