Stocking a kitchen and pantry is a great life skill to have. Imagine if your teen was suddenly on their own, would they know what they needed to stock their kitchen with? Would they know the necessities or would they be wandering through the grocery store aisles having no idea what they needed? In order to cook meals for themselves, our teens need to know what food items and what cooking tools are essential to have on hand, as well as how to cook with and use these items. Teaching them at home, before they move out and have to do it all, is a great way to help them prepare for life.
I love this post that breaks down exactly what you need for a kitchen with a free printable list of items for you to use with them in your home. Grab this free lesson and free printable HERE.
