My daughter used Cover Story in 8th grade. She really enjoyed this unique writing curriculum and we look forward to Byline! You can read her Cover Story review here. We really love this company and the outstanding video lessons they create. Some video lessons are super cheesy and boring – not so with One Year Adventure Novel, Cover Story, and Byline! ~ Carrie Fernandez

About Byline

Byline takes 8th–12th graders on a wild quest for stories left untold in the forgotten corners of history. As they step into the role of a 1930s-era newspaper reporter, students train under Editor-in-Chief, Daniel Schwabauer, who takes students under his wings to teach them everything he knows. Along the way, and before they even realize what they are doing, students learn to write great academic essays!

Award-winning author Daniel Schwabauer, creator of the highly-praised One Year Adventure Novel and Cover Story, fuses journalism with history in this innovative “chronojournalism” course.
