Shapes are one of the easier things to teach preschoolers, in my opinion. I don’t know why, but my kids always picked up shapes easier than colors or counting. Maybe its because when I would hand them something I would name the shape. Or maybe they are just weird and picked it up easier. Either way, it is still something I make a point to intentionally teach them around the age of 3 or 4.

Teaching your little ones all about shapes can be fun, but trying to find all the resources can be exhausting. Here are some great {free} printables, activities, crafts and more to make your lesson planning a little easier. :: www.homeschoolgiveaways.com

Whether you choose to teach all shapes as one unit or individually week-by-week, these resources will come in handy as you work to plan your lessons.
