Sometimes I feel like I just need permission. For instance, that yellow clock that’s sitting in my closet? I got it off the clearance rack a few years ago because it was cheap and I loved it. But I haven’t hung it anywhere because it doesn’t go with my decor. Yet. In some weird way, I think I’d feel so much better if someone gave me “permission” to release or discard this item. Heaven knows I must not need it if it’s been stored away for years!
If I had a friend in the same situation struggling with what to do with it, I’d say, “Um. Toss it.” (Which is code for “give it to someone or donate it.”) And, so it is with these 12 items…I say, “Toss it.” There. Now you’ve got permission.
