This packet includes everything you need for Family Morning Time for grades 7-8 – a Bible verse per term, hymn study, and poetry memorization (2 per term). It also includes Language Arts- copywork, dictation, and free writing based on the term’s independent reading. A nature reader (Pilgrim At Tinker Creek), fables/tales (The Children’s Homer and Tales from Shakespeare), and novels (The Giver, Tom Sawyer, and Treasure Island) are given as independent reading suggestions for each term. These readings can be narrated orally. At this age you will want to transition to SOME written narrations.
