Summer time is the best time to get outside and have some messy fun that you normally wouldn’t do during a normal school year.
My girls LOVE to do art projects, especially my younger ones. They are constantly asking me to let them paint. I have to be honest and say that as much as I love to let my kids be creative I can’t stand the mess. I don’t usually let the get into messy art projects during the school year. I do however, reserve the summer time for lots of fun painting and messy art.
It has become a tradition in the summer time to let them have fun with painting. I love using an area outside to paint because it can easily get hosed off and cleaned if there is a big mess.
If you are looking for fun creative ideas for your kids to do this summer you will want to check out these messy outdoor art activities!
