You can save so much money by making your own laundry detergent. You will be amazed at how much money that you can save when you make it yourself. You will also be avoiding harsh chemicals and brighteners that are in store bought detergent. One of my favorite things about using homemade laundry soap is that I always have everything on hand. There are no more last minute trips to the store because we ran out of soap!

I have always used this Liquid Laundry Soap Recipe from the Duggar Family. It makes a 5 gallon bucket, when you add water to it to dilute it it actually makes a total of 10 gallons! That is ALOT of soap and it lasts forever!
