I try hard to have a natural kitchen. I don’t like to buy many spice packets because they are full of MSG and ingredients that are hard to pronounce. I like to buy huge jars of individual spices and create my own mixes. They taste so much better than store bought too! These DIY spice mixes and meat rubs would make a great gift for anyone who loves to grill or cook! My husband just got a new grill for his birthday, so I am excited to get my kids in the kitchen with me to make some of these mixes up for Father’s Day!

I want to make all of these! I have been saving up old glass spice jars, and small glass salad dressing jars to put these in. If you don’t have any jars saved up, you may want to purchase some.
