I love to decorate my home with scriptures. There is just something about seeing God’s promises and His Word on a daily basis that helps to bring joy and peace to the home.
Before I got into making my own crafts and signs for my wall I spent a lot of money on signs with quotes and scriptures on them. I used to buy them at home decorating stores or Christian bookstores. Now that I have gotten into making almost everything for my home I realized that I could make cute signs and art for my home or for gifts for FREE!
There was a year that was really rough for our family. I was really struggling with so many things and felt God pushing me hard to keep digging into the Bible for encouragement and wisdom. I had so many scriptures written on index cards and taped to mirrors and windows all over my house. One day I saw some scripture art on Pinterest and felt prompted to create my own. It was the most therapeutic thing ever! Creating art is so calming and creating art using scriptures is a double bonus!
There are so many different ways that you can incorporate scriptures into your home decor. You can create your own artwork with paint or markers, you can even make them on your computer!
