Snacks can make or break your day. If you’re not prepared with a list of healthy ones to choose from, you could easily fall off track and make unhealthy choices. Here’s a list of some simple and easy snacks to have on hand. I have divided them up between E, S and FP to help you and me out. Some of these have links to recipes and some are just quick items you will likely have on hand.
“E” Snacks
Fruit and a small handful of nuts
cup of baby carrots
Spicy Oven roasted Chickpeas (reduce oil to 1T to make an E)
an orange with a light cheesestick
1 small apple spread with 1 tsp of nut butter
fruit and greek yogurt/cottage cheese
Salsa and Baked Blue Corn Chips
2-3 cups of popcorn with 1 tsp of coconut oil
Trim Healthy Pan Bread
Roasted Garbanzo Beans
overnight oats with extra oats and raspberries
1/2 cup of black beans with a swirl of Greek yogurt and a spoonful of salsa
1 or 2 THM pancakes with Polaner’s all fruit spread
1/2 cup cottage cheese with diced oranges or other “e” fruit
Small serving of Uncle Sam cereal with Almond Milk
Caramel Apple Smoothie
1 piece of sprouted toast with sweet yogurt cheese spread
“S” Snacks
Almond Flour Cheese Crackers
Deli Roll-ups
Marcona Almonds with Rosemary
Deviled eggs
small handful of almonds, cashews or peanuts
1 oz of any Cheese
hard-boiled egg
peanuts in the shell
celery with peanut butter or cream cheese
couple squares of 85% dark chocolate
Quest bar
Aldi low-carb bar
Turkey, ham or roast beef wrapped around a mozzarella stick
Turkey, ham or roast beef with 1T cream cheese wrapped around a pickle or cucumber
Muffin in a Mug (THM book)
stuffed mini peppers
Veggies with Gwen’s dip mix
Just like Wheat Thins (THM book)
Peanut Butter Blizzard
Crispy Cheddar Cheese & Green Onion Chips
Tiramisu Smoothie
Skinny Chocolate dipped in peanut butter
FP Snacks
Chocolate Cake Batter Protein Shake
High-fiber crackers with Laughing Cow Light Cheese
low-carb tortilla with lean turkey & Light Laughing Cow Cheese
low-carb tortilla with sweet yogurt cheese spread
sliced cucumbers with a splash of vinegar, salt and pepper
turkey roll-ups with light string cheese
any non-starchy vegetables with light laughing cow cheese
Cottage Berry Whip (THM book)
Cottage Cheese Boats
Nighty Night Hot Custard
Berries and Greek Yogurt/Cottage Cheese
Overnight oats with raspberries
Cinnamon Dippers with Greek Yogurt
7 almonds with a light cheese stick
Raspberry Smoothie
Kale chips
a dill pickle
bell pepper strips
hard-boiled egg whites

1/4 cup cottage cheese with small tomato and Italian Seasonings
Green beans with hummus
Chocolate Strawberry Protein Fluff
