We love studying art in our homeschool! I know some moms get nervous about teaching art appreciation, but it really can be as simple as looking at a picture, learning about an artist or replicating a work of art.
Last year I started something called “Fine Arts Friday” Each Friday we pull out a new picture and talk about it. Sometimes we will try to replicate it. We usually turn on classical music during this time and it’s just really laid back and low key. Eventually over time, your children will start to recognize certain pieces of art and even know who created them!
