We have always had Thanksgiving dinner with my husband’s family over at their house. This year our family is hosting! My girls are excited to decorate our table and use our fancy china that gets pulled out once a year. They have already started collecting acorns and pretty leaves as they love to decorate with nature. I am personally looking forward to coming up with some new family traditions.
I love Thanksgiving. There is so much to be thankful for and it is nice to share that with family and friends! It brings glory to God when we praise Him openly about the great things he has done for us.I have been searching for some ideas for us to do around our dinner table either before we eat dinner or maybe around coffee and pumpkin pie!
Here are some favorite ideas for sharing Gratitude around the Thanksgiving Dinner table:
Thankful Pumpkins from Eclectically Vintage
This is one of my favorite ideas! I love the craft pumpkins that you see all over the craft stores. I never would’ve thought to write on them. This would be a sweet little take home gift too!
Thanksgiving Gratitude Rolls from Beauty and Bedlam
This is a fun one! I am seriously considering doing this for a sweet dinner table surprise! Shhhh… don’t tell anyone! I love this creative idea, you could even have the kids do this to surprise the Grandparents and guests at the table.
I hope these have sparked some creative ideas for you! I know they have for me, I wish I could do all of them!
Please share any of your ideas for sharing gratitude on Thanksgiving in the comments!
