True confession. Sometime I just feel overwhelmed.
It seems like I’m always trying to do more than what a “reasonable” person would do, so I really appreciate tools that help me work effectively. I also appreciate beauty and simplicity.
The Blog Buddy Planner combines beauty and simplicity with a smart design.
If you or a blogger you love struggles to balance the joy and business of blogging with the joy and business of life, the Blog Buddy may be a transformational tool.
Homeschooling, housekeeping, blogging. Without proper organization, much of my productive time is lost to searching for notes I vaguely remember having written SOMEWHERE, and trying to remember the last thing I did before I was interrupted again.
But now, ideas scribbled on scraps of paper can tuck easily into the clear plastic pouch at the back of my Blog Buddy journal. (Better yet, I can capture ideas in the brainstorming section.) And the Post Completion Checklist reminds me what I have done and what I still need to do for posts I’m creating.
When I saw the Kickstarter for the Blog Buddy, I recognized it was unique. I purchased it at a discount in exchange for my honest review. Dani (the designer) created it from personal experience and went through quite a few prototypes (and cash) before settling on this spiral bound journal with a spill-resistant cover, snap-in erasable bookmark, and high quality paper.
The cover feels smooth and sturdy. I especially appreciate the elastic strap that holds the journal closed when I’m transporting it. (I take my journals and laptop with me pretty much everywhere.)
The planner has two years of monthly pages (2014-2015), undated weekly pages, and sections for:
- Daily Tasks
- Goal Planning
- Appointments & Deadlines
- Weekly Notes
- Tracking Expenses
- Health Goals
