Before it starts to cool off, let’s get outside and have fun with water!
Water is great for sensory play, it is fun and simple and readily available! Little kids LOVE water! Everytime we have a mobile baby or toddler we have to move the dog’s water dish because they just want to splash in it! There is something so attractive about playing with water that makes it a great busy time activity for your little ones.
Here are some great projects and ideas for water play:
My 3 year old loves to play in water. One day we were trying to finish up school and were stuck on a difficult to understand Math lesson. She just seemed bored with her regular toys and activities so I pulled out an extra tub sitting around and BAM! An instant busy bucket. (You can easily do this with a dollar store dish pan). You can take it a step further and add food coloring if you wanted to. I just put plain water in a bucket and she played with it for two hours!!!
