I am not a math person. I don’t like it & I don’t like teaching it. This week we were doing fractions with my 6 year old. She was cutting circles and squares into halves and fourths and coloring them and putting them back together again. She really was having fun and it didn’t seem like math. That’s why I like printing games and fun worksheets and doing hands on math activities. It doesn’t seem as “mathy” learning that way.
