Have you ever heard of the Reading Game? This is so cute!
Your child can be reading in a week with the Reading Game!
The Reading Game, 2nd Edition, first introduces individual words through game play in a fast-action memory card game. Each game teaches five new words. After every ten words learned through game play, the child is shown a captioned picture flashcard using those words in short descriptive sentences. The final stage of the game is a full-length independent storybook told using only the 30 words learned through game play, building confidence and enjoyment in reading.
This game was created by the author of Wordly Wise! It is recommended for ages 4 and up, plus suitable for struggling readers. I do have a struggling reader and I can’t wait to get my hands on this game! It is extremely colorful and the animal stories will really grab your child’s attention. I love that it comes with the readers and it looks like it will be an easy way to do “school” without pulling teeth to get your reading in for the day!
Make sure you visit The Reading Game on YouTube to check out demos of the game in action!
