Are children too young to set goals for the New Year?
I don’t believe they are! Even young children can set age-appropriate goals to strive toward: doing chores without complaining, saying “please” and “thank you”, learning to potty train, memorizing Scripture, reading the Bible every day, etc.
As mothers, it is our privilege and responsibility to make sure our children are surrounded by opportunities and stimuli to grow, reach, and improve, both spiritually and emotionally.
If you’re looking for something hands-on to engage your children in setting goals, here’s a free, printable packet for the New Year season!
This packet contains four printable pages for young children, and is a sample from January Printables for Kids.
Included in the sample packet: a goal-setting page, a motivation/goal chart, a Scripture copy work sheet, and a winter-themed coloring page.
