As a busy, work from home, homeschooling Mama I often dread the three words of “What’s for Dinner?!” I get so busy during the day sometimes, that I forget to plan and I’m honestly not that great at sticking to the wonderful Meal Plans that are out there either!
There are many busy seasons in our lives or every single day, where having something to pull out of the freezer and pop into the oven can just make life so much easier! I have found that it is cheaper and healthier to make your own frozen convenience meals. You can be serious about it and do once a month cooking where you make a months worth of meals at one time, or you can just make double of a certain meal when you are making dinner. Make one for now and one for later. I have even found freezer meals to be wonderful for being able to pull one out and bring it to a family in need. I love how food can be a way to bless someone!

A tip from me: I ALWAYS make my own chicken stock. I try to stock up when whole chickens are on sale, use the broth from the chickens to make my own stock to freeze. You can even freeze some of the meat with the stock, then you just pull it out for quick and easy Chicken and Rice, Soup, Gravy or Chicken and Dumplings!
