Uncle Sam and You is Notgrass Company’s newest full-year course for students in grades 5 through 8. This exciting course is designed in a similar style to America the Beautiful. While America the Beautiful teaches students the history of America, Uncle Sam and You teaches them how America works today and how everyday citizens are involved in making it work.
Expect your children to learn everything from how a stop sign gets put up at the end of your street to what a President does all day. Ages 10-14.
For a limited time you can download the first six units of Uncle Sam and You at no charge. For these units, you will have access to the full lesson text, the lesson activities, The Citizen’s Handbook readings, and the Lesson Review book. (The Student Workbook is not yet available with this offer.)
In order to access the free sample units, you need to add this item to your shopping cart and complete the check out process. You do not have to give us any credit card or other payment information.
The first supplemental literature title used in the curriculum (units 5-6) is Lincoln: A Photobiography by Russell Freedman, available from Notgrass Company.
