Review by Bridgette Taylor

The Three Weavers Plus Companion Guide by Robert and Shelley Noonan is a beautiful eloquent tale for fathers to read with their daughters and a Bible study guidebook all in one. Throughout the “Beautiful Girlhood” series, given to us by Pumpkin Seed Press, we have been cultivating virtue in our daughters, and “The Three Weavers” covers the most difficult topic of all, purity.

“The Three Weavers” is a fluent charming tale that can be read easily in a matter of hours or done over the course of a few weeks. The story is presented simply and innocently enough that it could even be read while younger girls listen in. There are six Bible study lessons which the father and daughter do together, and a father’s solo Bible study. The lessons as well as the activities help your daughter to know that she is cherished and loved, while nurturing a lasting bond between the two of you. The role of the father in protecting his daughter’s purity is important; perhaps more so now than ever before.

Fathers, “The Three Weavers” will help you assume your God given responsibility as the protector of your daughter’s virtue. Not only will this book equip you , but it will encourage you. Like the young women in the story, your daughter is a princess worthy of a prince, and this book will help you to mutually determine the qualities that he should have, while encouraging her to wait for the right prince to come. This Bible study is the sweetest most loving way to broach this tender subject with your daughters that I have ever seen, and the quality time spent together will be a memory that lasts a lifetime for you both. Every house with adolescent girls needs a copy of this book.
