Thanksgiving is the perfect time to read the Bible together as a family. Let’s make it easy for your kids to learn what God says about giving thanks with this free Thanksgiving Bible study. To help you focus on thanksgiving, there are Thanksgiving Bible verses you can read as a family.

This study is for everyone…parents, teens and kids. With older kids, they can study the verses by themselves, then discuss what they discover as a family.

You’ll also learn about the Greek word, eucharisteo. Younger kids might skip the Greek word study, but it is highly recommend that teenagers to work through that section.

Be sure to let your kids do this study with you. This is a great tool for your highschoolers to learn how to do a word study in the Bible. For your little ones, look up one or two of the verses and have them copy them down or act them out.

Towards the end of the study, you’ll find a few follow-up questions so you & your kids can apply the truths of thanks. Let this study be your Bible lessons in homeschooling this season.

When you finish the study, you might let each child choose their favorite Thanksgiving Bible verse. They might use it for copywork or memorize it. At the Thanksgiving table, each child can recite their Thanksgiving Bible verse.
