At the risk of sounding like a nerd, Grammar has always been one of my favorite subjects. I love diagramming sentences, writing essays and even editing papers. In fact, working in the Learning Center as a Grammar tutor and editor is one way I helped off-set some of my living costs in college.

Teaching Grammar during the elementary years doesn't have to be expensive. There are plenty of great options out there that are absolutely FREE! Check out these resources - from printables to songs to games and more! #grammar #elementary #homeschooling #homeschoolers

That being said, I do not force grammar on my own children much before middle school. Oh sure we learn the parts of speech and basic sentence structure. So we try to use free printables and curriculum whenever we can. I have gathered some great options for you, that I hope you’ll enjoy.
