This insight will help us to avoid an expiration date on our marriage. At times we truly need to reevaluate where we are finding our purpose and how we are balancing our marriage and homeschooling. We love our children so much. We aren’t alone in that. However, our husbands are our most important relationship after Christ. Let that one sink in for a moment… after Christ himself the creator of all things. Knowing that can shake you up a bit and help you refocus. Don’t let your whole purpose be motherhood and homeschooling. When the kids leave and find their own lives, our husbands are still there. DOn’t let that time be the time when you start working on your marriage. Do little things now.
