The book journal has sections for main character, other characters, setting, beginning, middle, end, and favorite part of the story. The book journal is great for parents to evaluate reading comprehension. Younger children can use the journals to draw pictures and dictate the story. You can use these records to help your kids in areas that they may need more work on and will help your learners internalize the main points of a story.
