We love nature in our homeschool, and my girls love creating crafts. I am always finding awesome craft ideas that use natural materials. Some of these may seem like they are only suited for preschool or elementary age children, but that is not always the case!

When dealing with nature activities and nature style crafts, I have found that there really is no age limit to using natural materials as your art medium. Nature is for everyone to enjoy! I have 3 girls I am currently homeschooling. My oldest is 13 and she enjoys the same nature style crafts as my 7 year old does, but I have found that there are certain types of nature crafts that may appeal to older kids and teens. These may be a little more complex to put together, and they are also super cute and even trendy.

Your older kids and teens will love these nature craft ideas:

Botanical Printmaking from Kitchen Table Classroom – your teens will have a blast with this watercolor process printmaking project that uses different types of leaves.
