I love how journaling is having such a comeback. I remember when I was in 5th grade and keeping a “secret” diary was all the rage. Now, journaling is very popular and isn’t just used for writing down your most kept secrets, but a place where you can have a creative outlet.

There are so many different types of journaling, the sky is really the limit. Keeping a journal isn’t just a way to keep track of what you have done, it’s a way to really write out what you are feeling or express yourself with art work, doodles, scripture verses you love and little notes. Reluctant writers may really enjoy writing in a journal if there are no rules attached to it. It’s also a great way for your children to be creative outside of a textbook, and it’s very relaxing too.
