Cursive writing is an important skill to learn, especially when so many institutions are going out of their way to not teach it. Fluently writing in cursive has a distinct advantage when it comes to note-taking and essay-writing. Cursive actually activates regions of the brain involved in working memory. Pretty awesome, right!? Teaching cursive handwriting is a tool you definitely want to teach your learners.
