No matter how old your children are, they still love that one on one connection of reading time together.

Some of the best memories of homeschooling, is cuddling up on the couch with  my little ones and good literature. As our children get older and start reading more books on their own and for their own leisure the reading aloud seems to slow down or stop all together. Do not fret! You can still spend quality time reading to and with your middle schoolers. I found a great post from Book Shark that explains why you should still read aloud, how  you can accomplish this and what you should read with your middle schoolers.

I absolutely love this idea! You can find out more HERE.
