Using narration in your homeschool is a wonderful evaluation tool for reading; which requires much thinking and assimilating on the student’s part. Understanding what narration is and how it works can give you a better grasp of its importance. Having your homeschoolers telling back, in their own words, what you read or heard tells volumes about your child’s comprehension and ability to comprehend. It can gauge what you need to work on as a teacher, what questions to ask and where your child needs help. We will be surprised just how much our children can absorb.
