Signs of the Weather is an old folk song that is perfect to learn how to sing during the winter time as the lyrics speak of very cold, winter weather.

blog template

My children love to learn music and love to sing. I am not a music teacher, but I can definitely incorporate some music lessons int our homeschool days. Yellow Brick Road Blog has a great music lesson for the song Signs of the Weather. This song is the perfect piece for practicing part-singing, and the multiple verses provide plenty of opportunity for students to practice both the upper and lower parts. She has included a video lesson that will teach you how to discern the upper and lower parts of the notes and how to sing the song.

You can watch the video and get details on more winter music lessons HERE.
