If you enjoy learning about different artists in your homeschool you will love this series on famous artists. There are so many wonderful artists out there that you can study, but I have picked some of our personal favorites to highlight. Studying artists and their works of art go along great with a Charlotte Mason style education, and you can also pair it up with history as well. Each week in this series we will be highlighting an artist, with free resources, printables and unit studies to give you an in depth study. This week’s artist is Michaelangelo.
Michaelangelo was another famous Italian Renaissance artist. He is great to study when you are studying this time period in history. He was a famous sculptor who is well know for his David statue, a painter, poet and architect. He is most known for his frescoe paintings on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
