The beauty of Christmas is upon us, but are you burdened because you have little to no money to spend this season? That doesn’t mean that you can’t have any surprises up your sleeve! We know that truly celebrating Christmas is a matter of the heart – celebrating the gift that God gave the world, His Son, Jesus. Immanuel. And yet, we still long to do something special for others, especially our children.

Last year my husband and I decided to not give each other gifts so that we could get our kids gifts – that’s what made us happy. Perhaps you’ll have a year like that. Or maybe there just isn’t any extra money to do even that! Here are some ideas for celebrating Christmas on a zero budget. Some ideas are better utilized if they are started farther out from Christmas, but others can still be used for this year’s gift-giving!
