Veterans Day is an official United States public holiday, observed annually on November 11, that honors military veterans; that is, persons who served in the United States Armed Forces. It is a celebration to honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.

Here is a FREE Veterans Day Freebie from CHSH-Teach.com that is designed to help your children and students focus their attention on a veteran that they personally know (or perhaps a family member that has passed).
