Hello thrifty mother with a backyard! These easy and affordable science experiments turn your backyard into a science lab. Science on a budget can be super easy -from tweezers to jars for bug houses-, there are so many things from around the house that can be used. I would get upset with my husband for saving every single jar we ever used. He literally has jars for everything single thing we ever used (I repeated that on purpose). However, I am grateful because now I can use them for our science experiments too. Each of these science experiments/activities include the materials you need, a link to the experiment, and the approximate time it takes to complete.
