Man, do I love homeschooling! It can be a bit overwhelming at times, but overall the perks are just wonderful! Take for instance the fact that we get to spend time with our children, our beloved offspring, all day long! We get to influence them and share life with them! I love it.

Another great perk is that with these little people of ours we get to explore. I use the word “explore” very loosely. It may mean going for a hike or a nature walk around the block. It may mean spending an afternoon at the library or an art museum. It could mean going on a picnic or dining at an Ethiopian restaurant if that’s what you’re studying right now.

Do you need ideas for fun and interesting things to see and do in your area?

travelNo matter where you travel, there is always going to be an opportunity to learn and explore. With homeschooling, we have time to do this in our own towns and cities!
