Fall is right around the corner, and for many of us that live in hot states like Florida, that means camping weather is quickly approaching!

Huge List of FREE Camping Printables and Family Camping IdeasI think Fall is the perfect time of year to take your family camping. If you live somewhere where you actually get four seasons, the weather is much cooler and the leaves are beautiful colors. Here in Florida, Fall isn’t that much cooler than summer, but it is more bearable, and the bugs aren’t biting as much. Our family is very big into the great outdoors and nature, so much so that we have made a commitment to go camping once a month. Yes, you heard that right. We take our family of 6 camping once a month! Sometimes, it is actually more than once a month, since we are part of a camping group at our church, and we also camp with American Heritage Girls.

You can read all about how I plan our once a month camping trips HEREI wrote this post over a year ago, and we are still sticking to the same routine and are loving it!
