Flip ’N’ Check™ Review & Giveaway

I have a big confession to make. My almost 8 year old LOVES video games. She would play ALL DAY if I would let her. She is really good at them too. When her time is up she will reach for another device with a screen and I have to steer her attention in another direction. As a parent, it is so easy to stick them in front of a screen so you can get things done. For me it is work, since I work at home.

I try to be diligent to keep her screen time minimal, but I am not always successful. I was delighted when our box of Flip ’N’ Check books arrived. It helped put an end to excessive screen time. Let me tell you all about it!

The day that we received our box in the mail with the Flip ’N’ Check books my daughter was excited to take a look. Normally, she looks and then goes back to whatever she was doing, however this time she wanted to open them up and get to work. We received 3 books in the mail: Brain Games, Ocean Explorer and Mad Libs. I cannot for sure say that she has a favorite, because I think she likes them all.

Are you ready for this? She played with these books for 6 hours straight! It came time for her to have some video game time and she declined so she could keep using the books! I was floored..AND she was learning. It’s a win-win!

Flip ’N’ Check™ is a new way to play dry-erase activity games for children 7+. The product line contains 20 well thought-out puzzles, mazes, crosswords, word searches, and a Mad Libs edition.

Flip ’N’ Check™’s special feature happens when the activity game is flipped over and the answers line up to the child’s work- PLAY & LEARN with Flip ’N’ Check™.

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Place the activity game under the plastic sheet.
  2. PLAY the game using a dry-erase marker.
  3. FLIP the page over and place it back under the plastic sheet.
  4. CHECK your answers for the puzzle games, and watch the made-up words drop magically into place for the Mad Libs games.
