Depression Era Tips to Stretch Your Food Budget

No matter what day and age you live in, it’s always a good idea to live frugally. Your household may currently be in a lean season and you feel like there’s little else you can do to put food on the table. Be encouraged! Matthew 6 tells us that God knows what we need, and He cares. Remember to go to Him with your needs. He is our great Provider. Then, check out these Depression Era Tips. You might be surprised how much more you could do to stretch your food budget! These are especially helpful for young families with small children, but I have found in a household with two teens that numbers two, three, and five really help!
