Do you run a household? Yes. Do you use plastic wrap? Yes. Then these 17 hacks are for you! Once you read this list, you will be astounded. “I didn’t even know this was a need in my life!” But it is.

I’d like to add my own time-saving tip that requires plastic wrap: wrap your seldom-used dishes in plastic wrap. Every birthday, we get the “You Are Special Today” red plate down from the cabinet over the refrigerator. Of course it was washed before we put it away, but it also has a way of getting all grimy and would need to be washed again before use. Since I’m always in a hurry around birthday meal preparations, even the smallest slow-down seemed costly. So instead, I started wrapping the plate in plastic wrap before storing it away. Now, when we get the plate out, we just unwrap and use!
