I love being a wife and mother, but sometimes us moms have a hard time taking care of our own well-being, don’t we? We are busy planning healthy meals, folding laundry, running our kids to music lessons or park days, wiping noses, cutting coupons, working in the nursery, listening to our husbands, baking cupcakes because it’s our night to bring snacks to the Bible study, etc. You and I both know the list could go on and on.
I can get frustrated when someone mentions that I should take care of myself. Who has time for that?! I can barely go potty without a child tapping on the door asking if I’m in there! But, the fact of the matter is that while Christ asks us to lay down our lives for others, there’s righteousness is not earned by completely forsaking your own wellness. God knew what He was doing when he gave you your family and your circumstances. If you’ll let them, these 5 Wellness Tips for the Homemaker will bless you.
