If your kids enjoy watching bugs and learning about nature they will have lots of fun with this free printable backyard bug watching pack. Each page has a section where they can write about the type of insect (older learners can look them up in field guides and write detailed descriptions, younger students can simply write what they know), an area to document the date and the weather on the day they saw the insect, what the insect was doing at the time, and a place to draw a picture of the insect they found.
