I knew motherhood would be wonderful and hard. What I didn’t realize was the large amount of mom guilt I would experience, and – honestly – I wonder if homeschool moms carry an extra load of it! We are with our children more hours in the day, so there’s more opportunity for us to not “get it right.” It’s also a heavy responsibility to be in charge of picking out curriculum, deciding which friends to set up play dates with (or co-ops to be a part of), and driving children to music lessons. When I was growing up and attending school, my mom didn’t have to worry about those needs because, for the most part, the school met all of them!

Grab a cup of coffee or a green smoothies, read this article, and enjoy getting permission to be human. Get rid of some mom guilt.
