10 Items to Ditch When You Don’t Have Disposable Income

Most of us are trying to live within our means and be content with what we have. But what happens when that’s not enough? What if you’ve already cut out paying for lattes and cable tv? Sometimes we’re caught between a rock and a hard place and all the contentment in the world isn’t going to change that. Pray. This may seem like a given, but I have experienced this weird phenomena in which I’m so caught up in remaining content and living on a budget, that I forget it’s okay to talk to God about it. He owns it all, and He knows our need. It’s not greedy or ungrateful to go in humility to our heavenly Father and ask for what we need.

Maybe you can find something on this list of 10 Items to Ditch When You Don’t Have Disposable Income that you could do without and not even notice. For instance, I asked for cloth napkins for Christmas and my daughter made me these! They are the cutest things and they make our meal time more special. I’m not kidding! They make our place settings lovely, and using them inspires us to use a little extra care in our table manners.

10itemsHonestly, I don’t think I want to live without every item on this list, but finding a few help to make my money last longer!
